While litigation is known as “a search for truth,” video depositions are used as the magnifying glass in that search. The courts have uniformly agreed that “[d]ue to recent technological advances and diminished equipment costs, videotaped depositions have become a familiar component of pretrial practice . . . .” State ex rel. Bennett v. Keadle, 334 S.E.2d 643, 645 (W. Va. 1985). “The age of the video deposition . . . is upon us.” Longo v. Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., 79 F.Supp. 2d 169 (E.D.N.Y. 1999).

Las Vegas Legal Video specialists are professionals who have many years of experience working in a variety of video settings. They are punctual, courteous, and conservatively dressed. They appreciate their important role in litigation and follow a “no room for mistakes” approach. Our videographers strictly adhere to the Nevada and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, specifically Rule 30.

Our equipment is also top notch and exceeds the requirements imposed by the National Court Reporters Association. Las Vegas Legal Video uses digital, low light sensitive cameras to record all depositions. No supplemental lighting is required and the depositions can be recorded in almost any environment. Nevertheless, additional lighting is available upon request.

Las Vegas Legal Video utilizes small, lavaliere microphones that record sound at the highest quality. Sound is recorded through a mixer onto the digital videotape and onto a conventional backup cassette tape to ensure no loss of sound. All depositions are recorded onto digital mini DVCAM tapes to guarantee that recordings are stored with no deterioration in quality. Digital master tapes allow all subsequent copies to be made at the same original quality, which is not possible with analog tapes. Las Vegas Legal Video equipment is sleek and efficient, allowing more space for deposition participants.

Las Vegas Legal Video employs only the best videographers, uses broadcast quality equipment, and follows the strictest quality control measures to ensure that the client receives the best possible service and product.
